Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11

Wow! That was quicker than I thought. Lenovo’s fresh-off-the-market Chromebook Duet 11″ is for sale now. Yet, the price isn’t quite in line with what Lenovo said. So, don’t rush to buy, the price might change soon.

I think though, if it happens, it’ll only change by $10-$20. But no pressure, if you need this cool tablet soon, go get it. It’s available at Best Buy and Lenovo for selection. Lenovo wears two hats, they’re both retailers and have two models. Wheras Best Buy has one. Let me spell it out, the prices range from $359.99 to $399.99, so think it over before buying.

In the long run, like for the next 5-10 years you’d use this tablet, $40 isn’t a big deal. It might be worth it, especially for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That’s what I think. For $359.99, Lenovo has an entry-level Duet. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There’s a bonus – the new Lenovo USI 2.0 pen comes with it. Best Buy steps it up for $20 more. It has the same 4GB of RAM but with 128GB storage.

I checked their listing, I can’t tell if it has the stylus or not. It’d be strange if it’s not there since Lenovo includes it. Then again, I’ve seen unexpected things happen during Chromebook launches. For an increase of $20, you’d get another model. It has 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and the USI 2.0 pen is included in the price of $399.99. Remember, all Lenovo models come with a keyboard and kickstand cover.

I have an inkling they all include the new pen. Delivery dates could be different. Best Buy says I could pick up in-store on Saturday, October 5th. If I choose to ship, it’s arriving by October 9th. Those dates are earlier compared to Lenovo’s website. Lenovo’s ETA for both their 4GB and 8GB models is October 16th through the 18th. That might be a play on their part, or a fact.

Unless they ship sooner, let’s not bet on those dates. Each model, regardless of whether they include a pen or if the RAM/storage changes, has the same awesome screen, keyboard, kickstand, processor, and cameras. I’ll say it, for an extra $40 you’d get the 8GB/128GB version and be happy you listened to me.
